iXBRL Tagging

We will tag your accounts to HMRC specifications, ready for submission.

What is iXBRL Tagging?

iXBRL tagging refers to the process of coding (or “tagging”) amounts and other disclosures on your financial statements, to make them machine-readable by HMRC.

This is a largely manual process and involves going line-by-line through your financial statements to tag each amount and disclosure to the correct iXBRL code.

We will take care of the tagging of your financial statements on your behalf and will provide you with the completed tagging ready for submission to HMRC.

Tagging of your accounts is legally required to be submitted to HMRC with your tax return.

This service is only for financial statements not prepared by Springbok, since tagging is included as standard on the accounts we prepare for our clients.
